Our History
Through a desire to support the vibrant and growing Colorado Springs community with honest, thoughtful roofing solutions, Eric Jewett founded Jewett Roofing Company in 2010. After Eric sadly passed away in 2019, then Vice President Josh Butrin stepped into as President and the company was rebranded as JRC Commercial Roof Services.
In 2023, JRC proudly became part of the Royalty Roofing family, a nationally recognized roofing contractor with a strong legacy dating back to 1986. Solid reputation for our roofing work built on providing quality products, installation and service. This partnership has expanded our resources, enhanced our capabilities, and strengthened our commitment to delivering exceptional roofing solutions. Backed by Royalty Roofing’s decades of experience and industry leadership, we continue to serve Colorado and beyond with the same local focus, expert service, and dedication our clients have trusted since 2010.

Royalty Roofing has installed over 80 million square feet of commercial roofing systems. We also install about 1 million square feet of residential shingles each year. Royalty has been a consistent commercial and residential roofing excellence award winner.

We have been in business since 1986 and I’m very proud of the fact that many of our employees have been with us from the start! We rely on the hard work of our own employees to repair, install, and maintain a variety of commercial roofing and residential roofing projects each year.
We are headquartered in Seymour, Indiana, and have strategically located offices from which we serve our commercial roofing customers throughout the continental United States. For residential customers, we serve the same areas but stay closer to our branch operations for repairs, installation and service work.
